Dan Jovick, co-founder
Dan has been a carpenter since he was just a boy helping his grandpa in his woodworking shop. He began working in the trades when he was 16 and continued to do so while attending college to get a business degree.
During construction, Dan’s role will be as your team leader, project manager, and quality control specialist. On projects that receive third-party certifications such as LEED or Earth Advantage, he will administer all paperwork and coordinate inspections.
Dan will also guide integrated design meetings with your architect, engineer, and priority subcontractors. He is on the jobsite regularly, making sure the crews have the correct materials and direction to keep the project moving forward. While on site, Dan ensures all work adheres to Jovick’s high standards, while still meeting clients’ pre-determined budgets. He loves solving intricate problems and managing complex projects.
Dan is the former President of the Jackson County Green Building Council, where he helped educate other builders and homeowners about high-performance, sustainable building.
Laurie Jovick, co-founder
Laurie is the person behind the scenes, making sure everything moves forward efficiently. She divides her time between running the overall operations of the Jovick company and helping to manage the construction of each home or homestead as Project Administrator.
In this role, Laurie organizes all of the necessary team members and then works to facilitate, report on, and analyze construction progress. Her number one goal is to create a building process that’s efficient and enjoyable for everyone who is involved — from pre-construction planning to completion.
She also streamlines all communication and ensures there is ongoing dialogue between the owners and all team members. Finally, Laurie continuously monitors and controls all project variables to ensure your home is finished on time and on budget.
